"There are three types of baseball players - those who make it happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened."
- Tommy Lasorda -

When it comes to the game of life, we have numerous choices of how we want to play. And it's natural that our choices change from inning to inning. A game filled only with hitting and running can be terribly exhausting, while standing at the plate waiting for that perfect pitch without swinging can leave a player in a state of perpetual wanting, and suiting up only to sit on the bench the entire time can lead to frustration and disappointment.

Whether you're hitting home runs, bunting, striking out, catching long flies, pitching slow curves, letting foul balls go, pinch hitting, avoiding fast balls, looking for signs, dropping the ball, or keeping the bench nice and toasty, it's important to be IN the game. There's no "right way" to participate in the game of life except for YOUR way. YOU get to choose how you play. And maintaining a balance between playing choices usually makes the game more interesting, fun, and rewarding all the way around.

This week, take a look at your game plan and stats. How's your game going? How can your playing improve? What bases need to be covered? How can you step up to the plate in your life and really go for a "win"? Remember, even if you're scoring runs right and left, there are always new ways to make the game even more enjoyable.

PLAY BALL!!!!
