"A goose flies by a chart which the
Royal Geographical Society could not improve."
- Holmes -
The simple message here is trust your instincts.
As you take wing in your life, it's natural to want to know
exactly where you're going at all times, to have a flight plan
so to speak . . . . it feels like the safe way to go and let's
face it, human beings like to feel safe. Sure, it would be great
to have all the details of your journey mapped out nice and
neat, so that you could just move from point A to point B
without so much as a hitch or a hiccup. But that seems to be a
rare occurrence. Usually, all sorts of conditions show up to
change things on every journey, and these don't appear on even
the most detailed map. Even with the best laid plans, constant
course correction is required along the way.
Planning and strategizing are excellent tools in getting you
where you want to go, so make sure you include your intuition as
you map your course. Let your inner guidance help you design
your life atlas. Then, as you begin to ride the thermals and
find yourself in a state of not knowing what's next, rather than
stopping in your tracks and grasping for some road map, look for
signs, check inside and follow your instincts. Your gut feelings
will always lead you in the right direction, it's just a matter
of paying attention and trusting them.
Bottom line . . . . Trust your instincts, trust yourself. You
always know what's best for you. Chart your own course and let
yourself glide in the freedom of not knowing exactly what's
next. If you find yourself a little off course, remember you can
always correct and redirect. Your instincts will guide you
wherever you want to go. After all, they're what had your feet
leave the ground in the first place.
Soar to new heights this week, and really enjoy the ride.
