"After all, tomorrow is another day."
- Scarlett O'Hara, Gone With The Wind -
No, this is not an offering endorsing procrastination, although
that notion conjures some fun possibilities. Maybe next time.
Spring has sprung in this corner of the planet and I'm finding
this time of year to be particularly glorious - brimming with
lots of new growth, inside and out. No matter what season you're
experiencing and how it's unfolding for you, make sure you allow
yourself time to really BE present in your experience. In regard
to living the life of your dreams, what's going on for you
TODAY?
As it happens so many times with goals, when we finally get
clear about the vision of what we want and actually create plan
of action, we move straight into expecting or demanding results
right NOW! It's great when life cooperates with our desire for
instant gratification and, in many cases, manifesting results
takes time. And those of us who hold big visions for ourselves
can sometimes get lost or overwhelmed with the enormity of a
project or creation. Sound familiar?
Staying focused on who you'll be or what you'll do TODAY to
support your bigger vision can really make a difference in your
process. Being present helps keep things manageable and moving,
and maybe even downright easy and enjoyable. It also keeps you
open and available to new possibilities and resources to support
your vision that you might not ordinarily see in a rush to make
things happen. It's energizing and empowering to experience
yourself holding a vision, actively designing it step by step,
building momentum, and taking time to watch it grow before your
very eyes.
Who will you be and/or what will you do TODAY to realize the
life of your dreams? Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was
Tara. Actively create the life you envision, being sure to give
yourself plenty of time to enjoy the process. Life is such a
glorious unfolding. See your completed steps along the way,
including those you choose today, as reasons to acknowledge
yourself and celebrate your progress.
The Mint Julip's are on me, ya'll.
Until next time,
